First Impressions: A Seriously Grand Arrival

We checked into the Titanic Mardan Palace on 3rd May 2025, and honestly, the place had already made an impression before we even reached our room. The lobby is one of those grand, over-the-top spaces where you walk in and think, “Okay, this holiday is going to be something special.” High ceilings, polished floors, huge flower displays, and staff who welcome you like royalty — it definitely set the tone.

The Original Room… and That Not-So-Lovely View

Our room itself was lovely. Big bed, spotlessly clean, and decorated in that luxurious Mediterranean style. Everything felt high quality. But then we opened the curtains and saw… the roof of the dining area. Not exactly the view you dream of when you book a resort in Antalya.

So I headed to reception, asked (very politely!) if they had anything on a higher floor with a better view. The receptionist said they were fully booked — and then casually offered us a free upgrade to a poolside lodge with a private pool.

I tried to play it cool, but inside I was buzzing.

The Upgrade That Changed Everything

When we saw the lodge, we were honestly stunned. It felt like we’d jumped straight into a completely different level of holiday. The lodge was spacious, modern and bright, with sliding doors opening onto our own terrace and private pool.

Waking up, pulling the curtains open and having a swim before breakfast? Unreal.
Like having a villa inside a resort — and one we didn’t have to pay extra for.

A Huge Resort Where Everything Is Close By

Even though the Titanic Mardan Palace is absolutely enormous — basically its own village — our lodge was right in the centre of everything. The main pools, bars, restaurants, entertainment areas… all just a short walk away. Perfect.

This ended up being one of the first holidays where we didn’t feel any need to leave the resort. Usually we like exploring, but this place genuinely had everything built in.

Food, Drinks, Shopping… You Name It

The choice of food and drink is huge here. Everywhere you turn, there’s something:

A full shopping mall inside the resort
Designer clothes stores
Jewellery shops with prices in the thousands
A waffle house
An ice-cream parlour
Beach bars and pool bars
Restaurants everywhere
A nightclub
A huge entertainment area

It’s like they wanted to make sure you never ran out of things to eat, drink, see or do — and they succeeded.

The Resort Location: Antalya at Its Best

The hotel sits right on the Mediterranean coastline in Antalya. Even without leaving the resort, you still get that warm seaside breeze, the sound of waves on the private beach, and that chilled-out, coastal holiday atmosphere.

Antalya is known for its history, old town, cliffs, beaches and boat tours. And even though we chose to stay resort-side for the whole holiday, it was still nice knowing we were in one of Turkey’s most beautiful regions.

Days by the Pools and Evenings by the Sea

Most days went something like this: wake up, quick dip in our private pool, wander to breakfast, then either head to the beach or one of the huge pools. Sometimes we’d float around with a drink. Sometimes we’d chill on a sunbed. Sometimes we’d retreat back to the lodge for quiet time.

Evenings were just as good. Walkways lit up beautifully, music drifting across the resort, and restaurants that always smelled incredible. Some nights we’d stay out enjoying the atmosphere, other nights we’d head back early and relax by the pool in peace.

A Resort with a Celebrity Reputation

Before visiting, we’d heard rumours that celebrities sometimes stayed here — people like Johnny Depp have apparently visited in the past. After seeing it ourselves, it makes total sense. The place feels glamorous but not intimidating, and luxurious without being out of reach.

A Holiday We’ll Never Forget

Looking back, this holiday just clicked in every way. The upgrade made a huge difference, but even without it, the resort is something special. Between the location, the private beach, the food, the atmosphere, the pools, the staff and the overall experience, it really felt like a dream trip.

We won’t ever forget our stay at the Titanic Mardan Palace. Truly an outstanding holiday from start to finish — and one we’d recommend without hesitation.
